At All Bright Dogs we want you to have a long happy life with your dog.  We believe the key is to enjoy DOING things with your best friend - so we offer a lot of things for you to choose from!  From basic obedience to competition level classes - all designed with your relationship with your dog in mind!

All Bright Dogs classes held atDog Days & Nights(3644 Manchester Road SE, Calgary, click on the link to see their website) run for 8 weeks and cost $194.25 (includes GST).

Your cheque will not be cashed until after class starts, but is required to hold your spot in the class.  Places will be held on a first received/first served basis. Rally-O Novice (CKC rules)

If you want to learn the skills needed to compete in CKC Rally Novice - this is the class for you!  To join our Rally Novice class, the dog must understand basic obedience commands - perfection is not required.     
         
Rally-O Advanced/Excellent (CKC rules) Mon Sept 13 - 8:00 pm    
This class will be held at Dog Days & Nights , 3644 Manchester Road SE, Calgary    
     
Rally Advanced is for dog/handler teams who have completed the Rally Novice class.  They do not need to be ready to compete at the Novice level yet, but there will be off-leash work in the Advanced class.    
         
Rally-O Novice (CARO rules) Wed Oct 13 at 7:00 pm      
         
Looking for a new way to Rally? Try the Candadian Association of Rally Obedience! We'll take Rally to it's highest and best! To join this class the dog must understand basic obedience commands - perfection is not required.

Taking CARO Rally to greater heights! Your dog will learn to jump at a distance, weave and tunnel... all in the familiar context of Rally! This is where it gets really fun!    
         
Puppy Kindergarten

This class will be held at Dog Days & Nights , 3644 Manchester Road SE, Calgary    
     

Get your puppy started off on the right paw!  We’ll work basic obedience behaviors: sit, down, stay, walk on leash and come when called.  We’ll also have a time for socialization with the other puppies and handlers.

Prerequisites:  Puppy cannot be over 6 months old.

    
         
Pet Manners Tues Oct 26 at 8:00 pm      
This class will be held at Dog Days & Nights , 3644 Manchester Road SE, Calgary    
     

This class is for dogs and puppies over 6 months old who could use a little “charm school”.  We’ll work on the obedience basics: sit, down, stay, walk on leash, come when called, and the common “behavior issues” we all seem to face: jumping on people, barking inappropriately, and play biting.  We’ll have a “behavior brainstorming” session at the end of each class for you to bring up any problems your dog is having that hasn’t been covered in class.

Obedience Foundations Thurs Sept 9 at 7:00 pm      
         
This class is designed to prepare your dog for competition obedience, we focus on, well, focus! This is a great class for your dog if you plan to compete in either Formal Obedience or Rally Obedience.    
         
Novice Polishing Thurs Nov 4 at 7:00 pm      
This class will be held at Dog Days & Nights , 3644 Manchester Road SE, Calgary (also available Mondays at Pet Planet - see above)      
     
Got your basics, but need to get "ring ready"?  This is the class for you!  We'll work on presentation, what will be expected of you, what you can expect of the judge and how you can prepare your dog to fend off "ring stress".  We'll do plenty of  "run throughs" and parts of them.

Bring your dog's favorite toy, lots of good treats and a happy attitude!

    
         
CKC Obedience Drop-In Thurs at 8:00 - start any time!      
This class will be held at Dog Days & Nights , 3644 Manchester Road SE, Calgary    
     

Our CKC Obedience class is a modified drop-in class, you can start at any time. You pay for 8 classes, and have 4 months to use up the classes you paid for. This gives us different dogs in class each week, and if you have to be away - you don't miss anything!

We take a slightly different approach to competitive obedience at All Bright Dogs.  We want it to be fun for both the dog and the handler.  We teach skills using games, positive reinforcement and great attitudes - building great attitudes in our working dogs!  Our CKC Obedience class will teach you what you need to know to be successful in the  ring, and help your dog to learn confidence and poise along the way. 

We work all the levels in one group - your dog can advance at his/her own pace and work without getting bored!

This class is for dog/handler teams who have taken either our Formal Obedience Foundations or Novice Polishing class.

    
     
         
Canine Good Neighbour Prep Class TBD      
This class will be held at Dog Days & Nights , 3644 Manchester Road SE, Calgary    
     
The Canine Good Neighbour Program is run by the Canadian Kennel Club - you can get a "Title" on any dog (doesn't have to be CKC registered), to show that your dog has the training and skills to be a good neighbour in our human world. We're working on arrangements with a CGN judge to run a CGN test for us shortly after the completion of class - I'll update you when it's confirmed!
