At All Bright Dogs we want you to have a long happy life with your dog.  We believe the key is to enjoy DOING things with your best friend - so we offer a lot of things for you to choose from!  From basic obedience to competition level classes - all designed with your relationship with your dog in mind!

All Bright Dogs classes held at Pet Planet (600 Manitou Road SE, Calgary) run for 8 weeks and cost $175.00 (+ GST).  Classes run through Dogaholics (2020 32nd Ave NE, Calgary) run for 8 weeks and cost $185 (+GST).  The exception is the Reactive Dogs Classes held at Dogaholics, which is $225 (+GST).  If you have any questions about classes, give me a call at 403-875-2665 and I'll do my best to answer them.

Our goal is to make formal obedience fun for both dog and handler!

Bring your dog's favorite toy, lots of good treats and a happy attitude!

We work all the levels in one group - your dog can advance at his/her own pace and work without getting bored!

This class is for dog/handler teams who have taken our Novice Obedience class.

Get your puppy started off on the right paw!  We’ll work basic obedience behaviors: sit, down, stay, walk on leash and come when called.  We’ll also have a time for socialization with the other puppies and handlers.

Prerequisites:  Puppy cannot be over 6 months old.

This class is for dogs and puppies over 6 months old who could use a little “charm school”.  We’ll work on the obedience basics: sit, down, stay, walk on leash, come when called, and the common “behavior issues” we all seem to face: jumping on people, barking inappropriately, and play biting.  We’ll have a “behavior brainstorming” session at the end of each class for you to bring up any problems your dog is having that hasn’t been covered in class.

Prerequisites:  None

Prerequisites:  The dog must have an understanding of walking on a loose leash, sit, down and basic obedience behaviors.

Prerequisites:  Rally Obedience Novice and a good recall - a lot of these levels are off-leash.

:  Teach your dog how to perform equipment safely and accurately.  We’ll also work on “flat work” – helping you to become a better handler, and helping you and your dog to work as a team!

Prerequisites:  The dog must have a good recall – no dog/human reactivity issues (there’s a lot of off-leash work in this class).

Take the skills you learned in Agility Foundations and start putting it all together!   

Prerequisites:  Agility Foundations

This class is a place to teach your dog how NOT to react negatively to other dogs and people.  We’ll give you the skills to keep your dog focused and teach your dog that there’s no need to defend himself from other dogs/people.

Prerequisites:  Permission from the instructor, private lessons to teach basic skills before coming into a room with other reactive dogs.

This is a continuation of Reactive Dog – Level I.  We’ll be working on closer proximity and “what to do if…” scenarios.
