We use positive training methods; positive reinforcement (rewards for the correct behavior) and negative punishment (taking away something they want when they do the wrong behavior).  This creates a great learning atmosphere for both dogs and people - and if we're having fun, we'll do more training, right?!

Laurie Albright (our head trainer) is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers.  She has been training professionally for 10 years.  Laurie is a CKC and CARO Rally Obedience Judge, and enjoys competing with her own dogs in CKC Competitive Obedience, Rally Obedience, Agility, Conformation and has started getting into Herding with her Australian Shepherds, Mia and Andi.
